Houston, we have Internet. We finally have Internet!
After a weeklong ordeal and getting the runaround from one Colorado Springs provider, we called Comcast instead and had functioning wifi 12 hours later. 🙏🙏🙏
When you work online, having internet access is
kind of a big deal. ALSO – we just started watching Game of Thrones so we need Netflix. YES… season one. YES… we’re incredibly late to the party. Are you jealous? 😏 Leave a comment if you are fan – I want to connect and compare thoughts/theories on the show!
While we were waiting these several days for the modem to arrive from provider #1, we found creative ways to stay busy. Like making sangria. And drinking sangria. What internet issues?
Now that we’re back up and running, I get to share the sangria with you fine folks! Let me begin by saying that watermelon is the star of this drink because it’s in season, it’s juicy and delicious, and it will help you hydrate (while you dehydrate). I got your back. 😉 You’re going to be seeing a lot of watermelon around here in the next couple of weeks.
So we’ve got the watermelon – big, square hunks of it. And we’ve got frozen strawberries. And magical rosé and some locally-made Colorado rum via Montanya Distillers. All of that gets combined in a pitcher and served up to your friends. Or just to you and your significant other. Or just you – it’s your summer and it’s your prerogative.
Cheers to watermelon and hot days and rosé!
