Kiwi Kale Smoothie

Kiwi is a surprisingly powerful fruit that is often overlooked. Its sweet, tart flavor makes this smoothie light and refreshing. It contains a hefty serving of fiber and antioxidants as well as folic acid and iron. Just one kiwi provides 230% of your daily recommendation Vitamin C. Colds, cancer, and inflammation don’t stand a chance.

Kale adds a serving of greens but is so subtle that you’ll forget you’re drinking a veggie. Though plain old water is usually fine, this smoothie benefitted from refreshing coconut water.

Blend it all together and drink to your health!

~1/3 c. ice
