Easy Blender Pesto

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups of fresh basil
  • 1/4 cup of raw cashews
  • 2-3 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast (what’s nutritional yeast? i’ll explain! click here.)
  • 1/4 cup + 3 tablespoons quality olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/3 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • pinch of nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in blender and pulse to get it started, then blend until smooth or to desired consistency.
  2. Store in the refrigerator up to 2 weeks.
