Description

This sweet and salty granola recipe is an easy to make, healthy homemade snack. It's made with simple ingredients and naturally sweetened, too!

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups rolled oats
2/3 cups Simple Mills salted almond flour crackers, crushed
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1/4 cup whole almonds
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup melted coconut oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
"Finishing Touches"
1/2 cup chocolate chips
2 Tablespoons maple syrup

Instructions

Preheat oven to 250º and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients and whisk together.
In a separate bowl, mix together wet ingredients. Pour into the bowl of dry ingredients and mix.
Pour granola onto baking sheet and spread evenly. Bake 40 minutes, removing halfway to stir.
After 40 minutes, remove from oven and pour chocolate chips and 2 tablespoons of maple syrup over the granola. Give it a quick mix and return to the oven for 5 minutes. Remove and allow to cool.
