Sweet, spicy, savory, and smoky. This easy recipe for grilled chicken thighs is a sure bet to impress any food lover!


Ingredients

  • 3 lbs. chicken thighs
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 Tablespoons tamarin or soy sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons sriracha
  • 2 Tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 2 Tablespoons cane sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 Tablespoons paprika
  • 2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Remove any excess fat from the chicken thighs if desired.
  2. Place chicken thighs into a gallon-sized Ziplock bag. Add olive oil, tamari, sriracha, mustard, sugar, and all other seasonings. Shake and mix the bag until the chicken is well-coated.
  3. Refrigerate until you are ready to grill.
  4. Preheat grill to high heat (around 400º).
  5. Once the grill reaches the desired temperature, spray or brush the grate with oil.
  6. Using tongs, place the chicken onto the grate and cover for 5 minutes. Save the excess marinade.
  7. Flip the chicken and pour the excess marinade evenly. Cover again and cook for 5 minutes.
  8. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

You can prepare this recipe anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 days prior to serving.
If desired, you can substitute breasts or drumsticks instead of thighs.
