A healthy, delicious dip, great for snacking and packing in lunches. Smoky, sweet, and creamy!


  • 2 medium sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 4 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. chipotle powder
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp. sea salt
  • olive oil if necessary to achieve consistency


  1. Preheat the oven to 415º.
  2. Cover a baking sheet with foil. Cut sweet potatoes in half lengthwise, then place them cut-side down on the baking sheet and roast them for 40 minutes.
  3. Allow sweet potatoes to cool, then remove the skins.
  4. In a medium bowl, mash the sweet potatoes until smooth.
  5. Add remaining ingredients and stir until well combined. If necessary, food process the mixture for a smoother consistency.
  6. Dip and enjoy!
